Autobello Piccolina

Why does it have hat wing at The back? Is that for downforce/aerodynamics?

 

It's a nod to Abarth's typical solution of leaving the hood partially open (often welded open) for better cooling and increased downforce.

 

I do hope that skin is set up in such a way that we can colour the portion of roof under the checkers separately from the rest of the body - I love the look of white/black checkers on a brightly-coloured car.

Of course, there's really no limit to the amount of fun you could have with that...

(Ignore the rollcage inside - I know that's probably keyed to one of the colour palettes, but I wasn't going to go that far in-depth with my edit.

The Bluebuck, while guaranteed to be in-game before version 1.0, is supposedly being actively reworked - I suspect it will end up looking more like this:



(That is a 1963 Chevy full-size. I would rather it end up looking more like a 1963 Oldsmobile 88, but most people don't give a damn about Oldsmobile, which is unfortunate.)

 

Both of urs are better then mine but I do hope we get a herbie styled config

With what? I don’t see what’s wrong about making a silly photoshop skin for the vehicle that is the subject of the thread. I don’t even see how it was off topic, it’s a fan made idea for the Autobello Picolina posted in a thread intended for fan comments on the Autobello Picolina. If we can’t talk about the car in it’s own thread then why can we comment on this thread in the first place? There isn’t anything else to discuss at this point. This is an Internet forum, not an academic center; I don’t see the problem with being silly once in awhile.

 

No, I didn't actually get it, but now I do.

 

I'd love to see versions like "Autobello Piccolina 1200" with the engine size. If we do get that, chrome letting on the back like the beetle would be cool. Also what ody style is there piccolina?? It can be a hatchback or sedan, and a "city car" doesn't really count.
