Kepp the engine sounds, they are sick, and put the rally tire skin onto the Normal Beamng rally tire, it would look sick on the normal cars too
For that I'd have to use the old sbeam sound system, which is pretty tedious and means I can't have different engine sounds for the engine swaps I have planned... --- Post updated --- Ah, I think I removed the slot for the light bar on the "new" body variant. Inbetween updates switch to the old body variant as that should still have the slot I have this fixed for the next update.
Crank and cam rotates with engine speed too, there are even animated rockers and throttle linkage, I doubt this much has ever been in any mod. Lot of work has been put to this, it is not simple port, but more of remake, imo. I often put weakest motor with single carb on police variant and give AI little spiced GT model, that provides very nicely matching combo, at American Road AI works quite nicely and chases are quite bit of fun to do. With engine sounds it is very enjoyable to drive this, even it is not quite like real life version of the car. 120kph in real one and you certainly don't want to take hands off wheel, doing 150kph was only for brave or self destructive ones, not the most stable at high speed, but at it's time quite nice car.
Probably the best mod in terms of detail I have ever seen in BeamNG. Sad thing is the collisions are shocking, however I'm sure due to how good this mod really is, someone who knows exactly what they are doing will give you a hand for the next update to help improve them dramatically.
yeah this is exactly what happened i dont want to spoil much for the next update but i guess i can show you a thing i did at least.
the mod replaced the front seats on the vanster but when i uninstalled the mod the seats when back to normal, could you please fix this.
My Summer BeamNG This thing crashes and deforms extremely well, with it being also pretty robust and not having easily snapped or bent parts. On the other hand, holy crap is this thing amazing! I thought this thing was hand made but soon realized it was exact 1-1 with models from MSC, hence the details. One detail I saw that was left out is the fact the wiring hasn't been done yet . The sad thing is it has more detail than some vanilla in-game vehicles.
Very good mod! i hope this gets better as the attention to detail is astonishing, i also like the current engine sounds. one of my favourite mods, and ive only used it for like 5 mins haha. Edit: i just realised i can shake body panels off whenever i dump the clutch, stuff like the bumpers and front lip
Totally amazing work as far as detail and overall performance. Like fufsgfen said, flying through the engine bay with the free cam speed set low: you can clip though the engine block and see all kinds of interesting stuff going on. Just about everything is in there and moving. I was half-expecting to see sparks shooting off the plugs and fire in the cylinders. The turbo on the rally version is very cool, and the turbine even has moving fins inside! Just got MSC a few weeks ago and driving my car in this one is a quite a treat. Driving the rally version up pikes peak was a blast. I did notice that there is a big gap in gearing from 2nd to 3rd gear.
