I have a file for a modded diff to use for the D15. It seems after every update it gets removed from where I used to put it and im getting annoyed by it. Is there a way for me to put it in my mods folder so it doesn't happen? Thanks in advance!
If you placing them in the wrong place, Steam is potentially removing them. Mods only go in the mods folder: https://wiki.beamng.com/How_to_install_mods If it's your own files, use the Documents/BeamNG.drive/vehicles folder. It's a mirror-folder in short. You can put modified files there, and the game will load them over the original files. Steam won't touch that folder, and you files will stay there, until you either remove them manually, or press the Clear Cache button (in that case they get moved to a backup folder)
I'm pretty sure that's where I used to put them, Documents/BeamNG.drive/vehicles, maybe I clicked on clear cache accidentally. Good thing I keep it backed up. Thanks for the help!
