Released American 80's Fullsize Series 2.1

I disagree. The oldsfullsize is designed to be the prototype test vehicle for the 1980s Oldsmobile. This was to allow it to go on the Repository so there would be no copyright issues.

Everything on the addon pack is based on real Oldsmobile and Chevrolet vehicles, they are not intended to be lore-friendly in any way.

 

Man I had so much fun with this mod, a trailer, and a new Pessima yesterday while cruising around on Los Injurus...the Caprice Wagon beater, with the knackered engine and awesome sound FX was quite entertaining to say the least. I put the 14x5.5 in wheels on all 4 corners, lowered the pressure to 8psi and put the CarPlus hubcaps on it to really set it apart. I had the beater on the trailer and was towing it around with the New Pessima, it struggled but surprisingly it towed this behemoth quite well, even with the Olds' motor in the cargo area lol

I've tried what Sierra-3 mentioned before about AWD. So for those who likes stupidly powerful front wheel drive land boats, i removed the coreslot to the driveshaft, so that you can deselect it and have an AWD oldsfullsize via the 4WD transfercase It's useless and shaky, but it's fun

What do you mean with the "new Pessima" ? Did i miss something?

 

He probably means the newer Pessima

 

or that he does not know there are 2 generation of pessimas

 

I meant the new-er pessima, not the boxy one.

 

The beamstate on the Chevrolet caprice sedan beater creates a fatal vehicle exception

Do you think that you can make them tumbnails white? I know I would take a while, but it would pay off.

 

I’m pretty sure it’s the only mod I have without white thumbnails, I get a little OCD about it... but I can’t uninstall the mod because it’s way too good.

White thumbnails would be great, however I know its a lot of work

 

White thumbnails are not top priority. I think you can get used to the black ones without major issues.

 

@SergentFido I can do updated thumbnails for you if you want, and save you some time.

 

That's very kind of you. I prefer keep the black thumbnails because they reminds me of older cars advertisements in magazines. When you enter in this mod, you agree to enter in my universe and tastes. I don't see why mods should stick to official cars changes. Thank you for your understanding. Having the cars not outdated regarding physics is something else, it's driving experience involved.

 

You could have it as an separate option on another thread.

 

If he likes it the way it is there’s is no point changing it, it’s his mod he has put hundreds or if not thousands of hours into, so if he likes them dark he has the right to keep them that way.

Plus, for those with a bad enough case of OCD there's a map on the repository the only purpose of which is to setup and make those white thumbnails.....

 

Hi everyone. I'm progressing a lot on the mod but it takes time to achieve. Especially on beater and rusty variants.

Some rusted to death formerly luxury sedans and coupe (it's the same skin working on both cars) :



I also edited the early Delta 88 beater skin, to be color changeable, and even added a color palette, so that trunk, hood, bodies and front doors have different colors. So a lot of combinaison will be possible, including just one color too of course.

I just got this to work so i will apply it on other skins as well.
