I think the whole "airplane" thing happens with the FR17 because it has way too much downforce. When the car gets airborne, it's converted into lift, and you get an improvised airplane.
Oh I totally forgot to mention, the plan is to also (with permission) convert two (possibly three) racing circuits. -Long Beach -Loudon (need to track down permission for this) -Toronto I also want to note : this will not be drivable with a keyboard! Oh yeah That is amazing! But I have a one problem, I had a Steering wheel but that was like 5 or 6 years ago, so now I don´t have a steering wheel. But Can I ask If it would be possible to drive it with a Xbox Controler or any kind of controler? So far the progress of this is very nice! Keep up the good work!
Thats nice to hear! I actually have a racing wheel now. Gotta say that a racing wheel makes it much more fun to drive too.
How close is this mod to finished? Also, are the paint schemes being released real life paint schemes?
How far off release, I don't know. It's mostly done aside from needing some parts re-done, and aerodynamic / engine tweaks. Problem with that is it's going to be a lot of small tweaks that take a good bit of time. Paint schemes are real ones used in 94/95
I doubt that you will have a chance in that competition with Indycar, but you might win lightest wheel powered vehicle title when we factor in performance aspect Lightest vehicle to my knowledge is Blijo's paper boat (I think it was 0.2kg), while my Flying wing is lightest flying vehicle at 0.36kg total weight. I guess there are no huge competition in lightest flying vehicles ;D
1990s IndyCars are the most beautiful and best sounding racecars I've ever seen, and the racing was absolutely phenomenal. This is sure to be my favorite mod!
A hard to handle 200+ mph monstrosity ? heck yea i played BeamNG.drive with a wheel since quite some time ( cant remember exactly how long ) and i like a challenge when it comes to driving a proper Track Toy that is on steroids 24/7 XD btw : will this mod include a custom engine starter sound ? bcuz the default starter sound is a little generic imo , anyway awesome mod so far
Just writing a comment so that I get the latest notifications on this phenomenal beast. - I know you said that you can't drive it with a keyboard, but can you add an option for us poor folk who don't have wheels or controllers...like the FR17 has like Traction control and stability control
I cant wait for this mod to be finally released it will likely be a top pick for anyone with skills enough to drive it, but when it will be released, who knows, but I will be waiting for it! --- Post updated --- As for the lightest vehicle in the game it might be but as for Automation mods goes I know of one car that weighs 273kg but thats using broken mechanics of another game to get that light
