I don’t like your attitude. This mod never dies. Since my modeling guy hasn’t gotten back to me I think my dad will help but that will make release even later.
Don’t worry about a release date, I would rather if it got finished and got finished well rather than a rushed mod with many flaws. Don’t let his attitude deter you, I’m sure you can finish it, just take your time
I will do my very best. However, I don’t model and don’t really know how to start. I need help from someone who will actually do it and keep me updated. I also don’t texture. I can get it in game and I can code some stuff that’s it.
You can learn, In the space of literally 7 days I have gone from having almost no idea how to skin to being able to skin, create configs, create colourable skins, create stickers with a different level of reflection to the skin etc. Instead of asking for help on the actual vehicle, do what I did and create a thread for the stuff you get stuck on, people will be much more willing to help you out that way. I'm going to be honest, no one is going to make a large majority of the mod for you, you (and your dad) will need to do a majority of the work, however the community is here to give you advice when you get stuck
I understand nobody is going to make the entire mod. That’s not what I need anyway. There are a few things that I can fix myself I just need to know how to do it. The interior is the most important piece and I don’t know what is wrong with it. Finals week is coming up next week so I have put this off to the side until I finish finals.
I think it looks sweet dude! But yeah, you should take your time and work on it as it pleases you, and learn more about the progress of modding at the same time. I know people might be a little bit toxic but if you just ignore that and suck all the motivation from us who want's this released, i think you will get this one done for sure, and even learn a lot from it! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks. People who don't talk s**t about modders and their creations are the people who deserve credit for making people feel better about their work.
A At the moment there’s no progress. My computer went through a windows update two weeks ago that corrupted my hid keyboard drivers. Currently my computer is unusable because of this. I have not checked back with my modeling guy so I don’t know how much has been done. Will hopefully resume progress in the next two weeks to month depending on how long it takes me to transfer files and put a fresh copy of windows on my computer.
i think this is awsome as heck . i cant wait until it is finished. looking forward to this. perhaps after you are finished with this and you learned a litlle more your next project could be a 68 roadrunner. im dying to see one on here..... keep up the good work my dude
Did you not see the red warning label next to the reply box that said that the thread is months old and by posting on it you are bumping it because it does not need further discussion?
I did. I want this to go somewhere tho. he said his computer took a Dookie and he would continue after a while. so oh my god yes is it is old and yes I seen the red box but no I don't think it dosnt need further discussion. it isn't canceled but delayed. thank you concerned keyboard
Did you know that if you wanted to ask the author if he/she is still working on it you can start a Private Conversation? (Big brain time)
Alright guys, I do still really want to finish this mod however, the guy I was in contact with for helping me fix the interior disappearing has dropped off the face of the earth. I have not heard from him and he hasn't responded to any of my messages. Please be patient,
thank you for being a polite person in the beamng comunity im sorry that i wasted .2 seconds of your life having to scroll good thing you have a big brain and made the best of it spending more of your life responding to me . oh and on top of it all now then you have contributed to keeping the thread up congrats my guy
I can't help whit the texture but maybe in 3D i'm not the best girl in the world to do that but i can try to help a little bit i manage in 3D not so far but i think its in the render of your interior view btw DM me if you want
The car models from Need For Speed aren't that good, maybe try using the one from Driver: San Francisco. The game has the shaker version and the normal hood version aswell.
