Now working on the front subframe and suspension. It's hard to decide on the dimensions as I only have pictures from the internet to work from.
Any tips on doing this? Or is it the same as with the interior, just replicate everything from the pictures as good as possible?

Not sure, maybe later. First this one in complete standard trim. If I get that model working correctly, adding other engines, wheels etc should be do-able.

Rick, this looks amazing. Can't wait for a release. This mod will be great, sucks that it will be posted on some 3rd party website. GL

I’ll probably change the name in the future so that it can be uploaded to the repository

I've gone to put it in reverse before and it's slipped out again, but that's just because I didn't push it back enough, how does it handle the extra 45hp? I really want to get an induction kit and highflow air intake, but the parts are pretty pricey and I don't have too much money at the moment

i only have chiptuning, but you do feel the extra hp, i would not recommend it though, it makes the car feel quite twitchy and nervous

This is one of my favourite cars! Good luck on finishing it!

(Sidenote: I would offer to help but I have no experience with this...)

Spent an awful lot of time on the suspension, engine and some tweaking in the engine bay. Starts to look like a decent car though. The car probably isn't 100% accurate as it's nearly impossible to find good (detail) pictures of the suspension and engine. Most pics online that I can find aren't very clear. My daily is a 2007 Focus so I can use that one quite well for reference.

I started on modelling the 1.6 duratec variant. It has some kind of weird intake layout that I've tried to replicate as good as possible. Exhaust system is probably not extremely accurate, as it is modelled after an aftermarket manifold. The engine seems to fit very well in the engine bay. Happy me :)

Lots and lots still has to be done, and I haven't even started the rear suspension! I'm quite pleased with it so far as it still is my first car that I've ever built for any game!

Can I just say that this is seriously looking wonderful mate. Definitely the most promise I've ever seen from a beginner, I'm saying this because of A) the amount of progress being made B) the speed at which it's being made and C) the quality of this progress. Seriously impressive stuff, keep it up and hopefully you'll have an excellent mod at the end :)
