Update: The ETK I was found a week later in an alley near a Bank. Dean was nowhere to be seen. Stacey has given the Police and FBI some more info about her father. They are slowly getting closer to catching him.

Crash Description: April 20th, 1974. Belasco County, California, USA.
Roger Downs, 52, was driving his 1953 Burnside Special taxicab along the Belasco Bay Bridge (I-111). In the rear passenger seat was Francis Lewis, 27. Lewis, for unknown reasons, produced a .44 Magnum revolver from his pocket and shot Downs in the head three times, killing him instantly. The Burnside swerved and hit a concrete retaining wall at the mouth of a tunnel at 70 - 80MPH. Lewis was seriously injured and was pronounced dead on arrival at hospital.

    Parts of Car Critically Damaged:
The Burnside was destroyed. The engine compartment had been partially crushed and the passenger compartment crumpled. The frame had buckled on impact.

    Estimated Repair Cost and/or Totalled:
    Burnside Special totalled.

    Injuries:
Roger Downs was killed by the severe brain trauma from the gunshots. Francis Lewis died of blunt force trauma to the head and neck after being launched into the windscreen and dashboard.

    Map Used:
    West Coast, USA

    Cars Used:
Burnside Special, Bruckell Moonhawk, Gavril H35 Ambulance, Ford LTD, Gavril Barstow, Gavril Gladiator.

    Aftermath:
The revolver was found in the car with fingerprints that matched Francis Lewis', ruling out the theory Roger Downs had killed himself. Therefore, the crash was treated as a murder-suicide. Francis had a history of mental illness and was known to be a violent man. He had withdrawn all of his savings and transferred it to his mother's account in the days prior to the crash.

On October 23, 1977, this crash happened at an intersection near the Frozen Lake. A green 1974 Bruckell Moonhawk rear-ended a maroon 1966 Ibishu Miramar, pushing the Miramar into a white 1976 Bruckell Moonhawk. The Miramar was pushed out of the way and burst into flames, and only fast rescue action by the drivers of the Moonhawks spared the Miramar driver from certain death.

The green Moonhawk's driver sustained cuts and a bruise from the seat belt; the white Moonhawk's driver was uninjured; and the maroon Miramar's driver sustained major whiplash, back injuries, and some burns.

    Miramars are death traps.

    Home Run!

Crash Description: November 9th, 2007 - A TastiCola Dragonfruit van from Arizona, driven by Oswald Jacobs, was driving down the twisty roads of the barren small roads of rural Texas. There was another car driving down the same road, driven by Texas renegade "Austin Slam", though his actual name is Harper Rider. The car was identified as a customized D-Series, known as the "Ramrod" by the renegade. Oswald wasn't expecting to see the Ramrod coming, and as it got closer, he had to throw his van off the road and rolling onto the edges from the road.

Injuries (if any): Oswald suffered some minor injuries in the arm and neck, Harper received no injuries at all.

    Map Used:
Utah, USA - as rural Texas in this story

Car(s) Used (you don't have to include authors):
Gavril H-Series TastiCola Dragonfruit, Gavril D-Series "The Ramrod"

    Aftermath (lawsuit etc):
Oswald had his van fixed, as the van wasn't in total ruins, and made sure to keep track of the Ramrod if it ever appeared again. 2 months later, in January 2008, Harper was finally taken out when his attempt at taking out a semi lead to his truck to crash into a rock and cause severe damage to his truck. He was later arrested minutes later, and was jailed for 10 years due to reckless driving and attempts of murder.

    Images:

My next post will be based off the incident where Harper Rider is finally captured and arrested in January 2008. Expect that post to come tomorrow!

    Wild Capture!

Crash Description: January 31st, 2008 - Harper Rider, also infamously known as "Austin Slam", was trying to take out a tanker on a rural Texas highway. During his attempt, he tried to block the road so the truck driver had to struggle to turn back, but launched way too fast and smashed onto rocks. The truck driver was able to call 911 after Harper's crash, once he stopped at the scene.

Injuries (if any): Harper broke 2 fingers due to the crash, and had immediate cramps and pain in the back.

    Map Used:
Utah, USA - also rural Texas in this story

Car(s) Used (you don't have to include authors):
Gavril T-Series Tanker, Gavril D-Series "The Ramrod"

    Aftermath (lawsuit etc):
After 911 arrived, he was fined and jailed for 10 years because of reckless driving and risking other drivers on the road. Harper went into a complete state of mental anger and frustration during his jail-time, and once he was released, he made his last attempt of overtaking drivers until it lead to his unexpected death.

    Images:

The following post will follow up on his fatal and last attempt of being a renegade driver, 10 years after his previous attack attempt.

    Final Straw...

Crash Description: April 1st, 2018 - Months after Harper's (Austin Slam) release from his 10 year sentence, he decided to come back to renegade driving. But when he was leaving a general store, and was going to switch onto the road, he was hit accidentally by a Wentward on his side of the car.

Injuries (if any): Harper suffered multiple cuts from glass shards, a bloody hand, and also had his neck almost broken. The Wentward driver only received minor injuries.

    Map Used:
Utah, USA - still rural Texas in this story

Car(s) Used (you don't have to include authors):
Gavril D-Series "The Stonewall", Wentward DT40L

    Aftermath (lawsuit etc):
A hour after being hospitalized from the incident, the infamous Austin Slam had died from his injuries. A conspiracy theorized that the Wentward driver intentionally decided to crash into the D-Series after realizing that was the Austin Slam's new car, even though the police ruled it as an accidental crash.

    Merging Troubles

August 5th, 2002. Kinsley Cat was heading to work in a rush. She was doing almost 10 over the limit when a vehicle merged in front of her. She didn't have much time to react, so she swerved into the barrier. The car came to a stop in a ditch after rolling several times. Witnesses dialed 911, including the driver who cut her off. Emergency services were at the scene within 5 minutes, due to a precinct being an exit away from the accident.

Injuries: Kinsley had several broken bones in her arms and left leg. She also had a concussion.

    Map used: WCU

    Cars used: An Ibishu Hopper.

Aftermath: Kinsley showed her dash-cam footage to police. The other driver, Christoph Hiroki, got a fine for reckless driving. Kinsley didn't sure him because she knew it was partially her fault.

    Not again!

August 25th, 2002. Several minutes after Kinsley had been taken to the hospital, Officer Rose Marriott and Officer Liam Salamone were informed about a police chase. Liam was about to head out to join the chase, but little did he know, the chase would find HIM. As he got in his car, the stolen car, a Police Cruiser, slid right into him, the driver, Olin Whalen, was killed instantly since he wasn't wearing a seatbelt.

Injuries: Liam had several broken bones in his legs and right arm. He had a severe concussion and a fractured rib. Olin was killed.

    Map used: WCU

Cars used: A Gavril Roamer and a Hirochi Sunburst (Custom).

Aftermath: Kinsley and Liam both healed up. Liam went on to become a Sergeant in Joplin MO in mid 2010. Kinsley went on to be a Driving Instructor in late 2015. Liam retired from duty after the 2012 Joplin Tornado. This made the BPD install better locks and surveillance on their cruisers.

Date of Crash: APR 29 1998 09:17 AM
    Vehicles:
    V-1 (1996 Gavril Roamer Sport) - IMPACT: Front offset/driver side - Speed: 60 MPH
    V-2 (1987 Gavril Flatbed Semi) - IMPACT: Front offset/driver side - Speed: 94 MPH
    Road:
    Interstate, 5 lane - 3 lanes N/B, 2 lanes S/B
    Position:
V-1 was found on its wheels in the right southbound lane, facing west-southwest at an approximate 70 degree angle toward the right edge of the road.
V-2 was found laying on its passenger side in the middle northbound lane, facing southbound toward the vicinity of V-1.
    Damage:
V-1 sustained total damage to the entirety of the vehicle. The bulk of the damage was to the front end and left side. The front sustained a maximum of approximately 6 feet of linear crush directly in front of the driver's seat. The engine was mostly detached from the front subframe and was found laying on the ground directly in front of the passenger's side of the vehicle. The front subframe and front axle sustained major deformation of their entire structures. The driver's front fender was located underneath the driver's seating area.
The occupant compartment sustained major deformation and the driver's survival space was effectively zero. The driver's front wheel was located on the front edge of the driver's seat, and the tire was flat. The hood and roof were in direct contact with the driver's seat, and the roof was pushed sideways into the head restraint and upper left part of the rear bench seat.. The B-pillar was pushed into the base of the left rear seat and the rear bench seat was partially outside the vehicle. The left and center sections of the dashboard, as well as the associated wiring and ducting, were in fragmented pieces underneath the driver seat and between the driver and passenger seats. The steering column and deployed airbag were found in the footwell of the rear left passenger's seat. The airbag was extensively torn in multiple places. The driver's door and left rear door were torn off and were missing from the vehicle. The right rear door opened on impact. The front passenger door was jammed. The rear hatch was operational. The front passenger side window, passenger side cargo area window, and rear window were intact. The driver's seat belt is a 3-point continuous loop. No evidence of occupant contact was found on the seat belt, suggesting that the driver was unrestrained.
V-2 sustained major damage to the front end and minor associated damage to the driver's side and passenger's side of the vehicle. The hood was detached at its attachment points with the cab and was held in place by crushed sheet metal. It was damaged primarily on the driver's side with a maximum of approximately 2 feet of linear crush. The front axle was bent rearward approximately 6 inches at its left outboard end and the front left tire was missing. The radiator was punctured. The engine and transmission were still in place. The stair to the driver's door was torn off during the crash and minor induced damage occurred to the steel panel behind the stair and the lower edge of the driver's door. Both side windows and the left windshield pane were shattered on impact. The interior of the occupant compartment showed little damage. The bottom of the steering wheel rim was slightly deformed, likely from driver chest contact. The driver's seat belt is a 3-point continuous loop. Abraded scrapes and fraying were found on the loop indicating usage by the driver.
    Injuries:
V-1's driver, a 37 year old male, was found pinned in the vehicle with no signs of life at 09:21 AM. He sustained numerous fatal injuries to all regions of the body.
