Reverse lights were not required at the time. It's very likely it simply has none at all:

Later on, when both reverse light and rear foglight became mandatory, a pretty common solution for vehicles that were designed before new regulations was to install separate auxiliary units:

And - off topic - the actual name of the second car is just "126", "p" only denotes cars built in Poland for the polish market by Polski-FIAT, at the time a local FIAT subsidiary.

Even when italian production of the 126 was halted and all cars sold in Continental Europe were polish-sourced, they never wore the "p" designation. Car pictured, for example, is an italian-spec polish-built Series 3 and it just says it was "built by FSM" (Fabryka Samochodów Małolitrażowych, the formal name taken by Polski-FIAT in 1970) but is otherwise simply a "126".

FSM was not a rebranding of Polski Fiat.

The nameplate game in Polish cars looked like this:

    - Originally, they only had FSO since 1951. They produced the Warszawa, Syrena, Polonez and 1300/1500.

    - In 1967, Polski Fiat was established to sell the 125p and 126p. The brand was barred from export use by Fiat in 1983, so the 125p became the FSO 1300/1500,

    - in 1972, FSM was established for making and selling small cars. The Syrena was sold under that brand, but the factory also made the 126p, which was sold as Polski Fiat in Poland and Fiat 126 by FSM abroad, and the Fiat Cinquecento, originally sold as the FSM Cinquecento in Poland, but since 1993 sold as the Fiat Cinquecento (like any Polish-made Fiat),

    - in 1999, FSO was renamed Daewoo-FSO, but the Polonez still had FSO badging, except for the Daewoo-FSO steering wheel badge.

No, this is Autobello Piccolina, while it might have some design cues from some real world vehicles it is completely new design like all BeamNG cars, much more skilled creation than just carbon copying something existing.

Like Covet for example, that is designed from the scratch, despite it has some resemblance to Colt etc. It is designed from scratch.

this may be a bit offtopic, but i feel that a nice rustic roof rack would work very well on the new Piccolina :p

    ex;

i suppose this is more for the modders to do than the devs, but since customization seems to be a big part of the Piccolina, i just thought that this would be a nice addition to the car :)

It's mainly inspired by the Fiat 600 and takes a few cues from the Volkswagen Beetle and Subaru 350, according to the BeamNG Wiki.

Still don’t see why the “what’s it’s based off of” gets shot down so often. I recal Gabester himself saying what the Sunburst and Hopper are mechanically based off of. I highly doubt the vehicle team are mechanically designing everything from scratch. Just discussing the vehicle, which is what this thread is for.

I think this was more of a “vehicle department as a whole” project since it required more research and various devs have been posting about it.

It makes sense to discuss what a car is mechanically based off. It's an objective assessment and it's easy to compare cars with similar drivetrain layouts, suspension designs, etc.
However styling is a much more subjective thing and often times there are endless debates about what the car looks like, and it's mostly pointless.

I think most mean mechanically when they ask but the conversations get shot down nearly every time regardless. The “why is this car not exactly X IRL car in terms of visuals and nation of origin” are certainly annoying but aside from when the Hopper was released I don’t see them too often.
