I was on YouTube once and I saw a video with a title that basically said only true car guys like older cars...

    Is this true?

No, a true car guy like cars, it doesn't matter if it's old new, American, Japanese, sedan, or coupe.

I consider myself a car guy and at first I hated new cars. Working around old and new cars all day long I'd have to say that I don't hate new cars as much as I used to. And some are actually quite fun to drive! I personally prefer older cars (2010 and older) for the driving experience, but I appreciate new cars and there are some that you can have a lot of fun with.

I don't have a problem with newer or older cars.

I can see one (perhaps) obvious positive about older cars is that they are easier to work on! (I would think that newer cars would be easier with certan college degrees for the technology.)

You don't have to hate new cars to be a car guy.

You just need to have a passion for cars in general.

I don't like FWD and cars with engines smaller than 1.8L for small cars and 2.0 for bigger ones
