    Hi,

So i want to get a new steering wheel for Christmas with a budget of 300€. I already have the Thrustmaster T150 Pro but i want to upgrade.
I want to get the Thrustmaster T300RS GT Edition but it's only in stock the 24th of December, meaning that it's too late.
Idk if i should get the G920 + Shifter.
Any of you guys have any suggestions?

I'm not sure if G920 would be much of an upgrade really, leather and metal are way overrated materials, it might turn smoother though as T150 turns in notches, most noticeable FFB off when playing ETS2 for example, G25 did not do that from my memory, so maybe G920 either, even G920 is weaker than G25 if my memory does not fail me (Could of been G27 that was strongest, but it was either G25 or G27, new ones became bit lesser).

After Christmas you might find better offers when sales start.

For example today I did browse some advertising magazines that they carry a lot at this time of the year and prices seemed to be all year highs despite claiming to be cheap.

So should i pass the G920?
I also found out there's a normal version of the T300RS in stock. The 2 pedals included won't bother me since i have the T3PA.

I think normal version would be better in your case, after all you already have pedals and those should last quite well.

Logitech has less glitches in software side, afaik. However what I have read is that G920 should not be much upgrade over G27 and G27 is not much upgrade over G25 (some might say they are downgraded every generation), so T300 might be bit more of an upgrade, however having not had chance to test I can't say anything certain, you might want to do some research about specs etc.

T300 has fan like T150 so that noise you know about, fan also likes to fail after some time, so there is that too, but FFB etc. might be better than G920 based on what I have read about it.

So you get about same with G920 without fan noise or bit better wheel with T300 with a fan.

Is the difference then enough to loose a shifter, that is probably matter of personal taste, differences are not that huge between T300 and G920 what I have read, between G25 and T150, I would say that FFB was better with G25, smoothness without FFB was better in G25, but at least T150 does not cut my fingers every 2nd turn and T3PA pedals are miles better.

I would choose T300 over G920, or maybe T150 and have shifter upgrade over G920.

How about selling T150 and getting T500 does that go over budget a lot? i don't know how much Fanatec wheels cost, but those apparently are far better.

Now you are probably even more confused, sorry.

It's been a year since i had the wheel and i didn't see any problems software wise.
In the T150, the fan is quiet, so i don't expect noticeable changes (it's also because i have 5 fans in my pc lol)
For what i've seen on youtube/internet, i think yes. Plus i think i'm gonna use my christmas money to get a shifter.
    Way too far over budget.

Plus Fanatec wheels are even more expensive.
    Nah, i'm not.

I have a G920, and I have no complaints. It has run reliably for about a year now.

I have no experience with Thrustmaster wheels, but from what I’ve heard, the FFB is less grainy.
