I'm not sure if this was here before but there was a camera shake. At 0:35. Not sure if its editing or a game feature.
I think there is just another car in front of the Piccolina with relative camera enabled, since if you look closely, the camera movement follows the terrain.
I assume we're getting more license plate formats. In the Piccolina trailer. there was a wider, European styled plate. I doubt it's only a feature on this car.
As it seems, BeamNG.Drive developers have done their homework on Italian license plates - according to the video, we will receive 1927-series license plate with black background and white letters and numbers, and the license plate for AB car seems correct and matches a design of 1927-series that ran from the 1950s to 1980s, therefore, I appreciate the research that was done to make a car look period-correct. 1999-present day license plate design seems accurate as well, however, it would have been great if Civetta Bolide would had a license plate with white background and black characters that was running from 1985 to 1994, which sort of falls under the production period of the car, but nonetheless, I am quite happy to see Italy and AB finally coming to our computers.
re-watched the video- and look! -colorable fan shroud -trunk/engine-hood can be stuck open on little holder things -skinnable / colorable taillights -vented fenders -round part in the middle of the roof, like on a 600 - (maybe ragtop version in the future?) -wishbone? front suspension optional -tube front bumpers -high-cut fenders -another badge! -interior rear-view mirror
yeah thats because game devs hire out nasa's super computer to show their really intensive games running at 60FPS no frame drops joking aside, it's probably a top-tier machine, i saw dynamic reflections too, probably above GTX 1080 perf level and must be octa core CPU maybe.
Nadeox usually makes videos for BeamNG and afaik.he has mildly overclocked i7-4790K and gtx1070. Of course there are techniques for everything and overclocked 4790K is faster in practice than my stock i7-6700, overclocked 4790K is in practice about as fast as stock i7-8086K, in theory latter is more than twice faster, but in practice MC performance tends not to be so important. Nasa computers might actually run game worse, those rarely have best gaming performance Still, I kinda wish that I would get motherboard for 8086K as it would be bit faster than 6700, but it got bit complex and lengthy project.
And I'm stuck here with a desktop with an i5 4690k running at 4.3 GHz that thinks it's a Pentium D (Possibly exaggerating a bit here,) 16GB DDR3 RAM, and a GTX 1070, and a gaming laptop with a crap i7 7700HQ, 16GB RAM, and a GTX 1070 that has major thermal problems. Sigh... Can't win for losing with tech
i've actually got an i7600k myself... i wonder what a mild overclock could with it either way, whatever specs you have, with the optimization required to make italy palatable fps-wise, i bet we'll see improvements all around
I wonder about the Miramar. Given how rally-intensive Italy appears to be shaping up to be, and the fact that the Miramar has had rally suspension components kicking around in the parts selector, could 0.15 bring us the full configuration?
Thats still a leap better than my i5-2400 3.1Ghz / 8GB DDR3 / Decent SSD / GTX 1050 ti and yet the devs still optimized the game so well it runs great on this ancient machine!
Guys, this is Update Speculation Thread, not Computer Discussion Thread https://www.beamng.com/threads/general-computer-talk-advice.11843/
And people are speculating how coming update will run with their machines, so what is the problem really?
"this is Update Speculation Thread, not Computer Discussion Thread" What about people who want to talk about how the game runs into their PC's, as @fufsgfen says? That's not bad, you need to put more attention to the topic people are talking about. Not just think that they're talking about computers in a thread in which. BTW. You can talk about computers and how the game runs to you...
