    Just I want to congratulate the great team of BeamNG.drive, the trailers of Italy and the Piccolina are great!, I don't follow much the forums and just being reading this one for a while and apart of programing skills, men you got a hole a lot of patience!

    Have a nice Christmas to all the team and please enjoy a deserved rest!, we CAN enjoy the Piccolina with blinkers even in the f***ing roof !

    You want to say there was a regulations in Italy not to have separate position light?
    And what about gems regulations, if we will use position lights as blinkers instead of gems it will be accurate?

    No, but regulations in most countries pushed manufacturers toward integrated units: white front blinkers were still allowed (in Italy, they were mandatory) so that a single unit working both as direction and parking light could be used. Pretty much every small/medium-sized car of the time went for this cheaper solution.
    This would be ideal:



    - Early models with fender-mounted "gems" only, working as blinkers and position lights.
    - Late models with auxiliary lights in the front fascia where they are now, working as blinkers and position lights.

    See how the Beetle also underwent a similar process of evolution...


    ... except blinkers (amber) were moved from fenders to bumper in this case, and position lights merged with the main headlight units, as mandated by german regulations.

    German regulations were later extended to all Europe and that's pretty much what we still have today.

    BTW, until now this looks interesting, but honestly, I'm not too hyped for it. So well, I won't join the hype train, choo choo, the Hype Train is marching all over the world, without me. :)

    Low price of petrol in 50-70s Europe?! you must be joking! There were many reason why Europe had and still has got small cars, And one of them is the price of fuel. Fuel wasn't and isn't cheap especially not in Italy.
