Where's all the power goes on open differential

    Open diff distribute torque evenly, so if one wheel is lifted the engine should be hitting rev limiter with little output and the wheel in air should be spinning at double the top speed.
    However in BeamNG the engine runs hard when doing this and the torque is present.Only appeared to be "eaten" by the differential.

    The speedometer reads the average wheel speed of all the wheels, not the transmission speed. The differential math is dealt with correctly, but there is a torque safety limit built in when the speed difference gets too high, like 100s of km/h difference. This is to prevent an awd car being able to spin one tire up to 800km/h and exploding it in seconds.

    Thanks for answering.
    Seems that the wheel difference is limited to about 210km/h.
    This safety limit also prevent using different forward/rear axle final drive with an open center diffferential, by limiting the power at center differential.

    Another thing to keep in mind... when you have one wheel stationary like you have, and then another spinning freely, like you have... you are effectively "gearing up" that wheel. This demands much more torque from the engine when accelerating the one tire than would normally be needed in that given gear as the ratio is now so much lower. This means the engine will struggle to accelerate a tire more than you would normally expect when a tire is free wheeling.
