I know but still not everyone on the forum is some magical computer wizard, and most of those posts really don't make any sense to me...
Well, they can still talk about computers, you don't need to interrupt their talk about how the game runs. You can just, step away from it.
You are right. I misunder stood what some people had been saying, and I came off aggressive and was unnecessary. I apologize for that. I think the reason I got so angry and MrAnnoyingDude was because of this " I am ashamed when I realize many mistakes in my Automation mods, and I'm not a paid game dev team." Hes trying to use automation mods as a comparison to dev quality cars, yet it takes 2 hours for an automation mod, and you barely have to do anything, where it takes the devs years to make a car that they still improve. The thing about not being paid too. Idk. This part just rubbed me the wrong way. But, I'm not trying to start anything by saying that, I am sorry for being aggressive.
Well, I for one am excited for the new content, especially the Italy map. Gonna be nice having something fresh to explore in a new vehicle.
Come to think of it, the last time that happened was in 0.5.4.0, when the Miramar was released alongside Utah. Updates that include both a new vehicle and a new map are very rare, having happened only three times in BeamNG's history. (0.3.0.0 , 0.3.6.0 , and 0.5.4.0)
Nope, no OC over there. All it's stock. Heck, I mistaked on the motherboard and got a base one, my RAM isn't even running at it's full speed (2333 rather than 3000Mhz) Also there have been important work on performance (as we mentioned when we said Italy will come a bit later). You should notice better frame-rates on most, if not all, maps.
So what are your full specs? They sound similar to mine, so I would like to know what performance I should expect. Spoiler: PC Specs I7 4700K @ 3.6 Ghz EVGA 1070 SuperClocked (8GB VRAM) 12GB RAM
Happy to see devs listening to the community and working on improving the game instead of saying "update is ready, we're not going to change anything, deal with it". Seeing how they're open for feedback, both positive and negative one is really nice. Some things require more input from community for an action to be taken, some not.
I feel like we need new flat 4 sounds, the one in sbr4 sounds way too artificial to fit to piccolina. I hope they will deal with that problem.
I agree they sound awful for a classic car with like 40bhp, the mirimar sounds would make sense, low rpm 4 cyl sounds that is. I hope they do something that makes sense, and the pigeon 600cc would be even worse. It sounds like someone swapped a 911 engine in this thing. For the baja, racem corse and rally version it sounds ok, but for a late 50s- early 70s familey saloon, it is just absured. I love thecar and the new map, and the car but I cringe so bad when I hear that. pls devs my ear drums want to kill themselves
I hope more for another less powerfull, preferably 2 cylinder engine for the base versions. Custom stuff could hold on to the f4, even with current sbr sounds which could kinda suit it as then it would be a performance engine. I have a feeling that a car like the piccolina could use with 20ish (at most) hp engine in base spec, as it wpuld truly give the true spirit of an old and tiny itallian car. Not even mentioning non syncronized reverse and 1st gear, as I know that non syncronized transmission aren't supported and most likely won't be in a near future (nowadays rarely anything uses transmissions without syncronizers) and it would most likely annoy many people,as shifting a vehicle with non syncronized trans takes a lot of practice (tried it with a tractor and it was quite hard). --- Post updated --- 40bhp is a lot for a car as small as this one.
So right now we have to just sit and wait for the update, because we basically know everything that is going to be released no?
