what i mean is that ingame the cars just go vrrrrrrrrrroooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooom but in real life cars actually go vvvvvvvvt-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t bouncing on the redline. are they going to put something like this in the game? i really hope so because the sound in this game is getting really old and annoying.
probably. there are sound mods available http://www.beamng.com/threads/6334-...NEW-RELEASES-!!!-TURBINE-!!!?highlight=sounds
well sence most of the cars are currently from the 80s (or older) the way they rev now is pretty much how they would IRL. most cars didn't get rev limiters till the 90's when fuel injection became popular, 80s and back were largely carb and TBI. ofcourse there were some cars that had it back then, mostly high end stuff or engines that were newly designed in the 80s. Personaly a pet peeve of mine is in games like forza all the cars tap the rev limiter, even ones that wouldn't actually have one. nothing more annoying than driving a 60s muscle car and hearing it tap the limiter every time you wind it out. Don't belive me? but yea, I would like a feature like this if it was implemented on SOME cars, but just the modern ones.
It will come, don't worry about it. The devs already have most of the crap that people keep making threads suggesting/asking for on their to-do list.
After combing through all the .lua files looking for something, trust me, they will get to every single minute detail. The developers are talented coders.
