I'm creating this car parts mod. But having problem I can't solve:

Headlights: works well but wrong place
Front bumper: not showing at all, wrong place as we can see from those indicators
Bumper indicators: wrong texture and wrong mapping

    What I have done:

    1. Imported original midsize.dae into 3ds Max 2018 (drag and drop or file->import->midsize.dae)
    2. removed every part except headlights and front bumper
    3. renamed headlights and front bumper
    4. exported with openCOLLADA
    5. + jbeam etc stuff so I can select the parts in game.

    What I'm doing wrong?

I can't find any tutorial for 3ds Max importing / exporting (cars, parts) could someone tell most important points?

I can't be only using 3ds Max here...

For the wrong location, apply the location so the parts are at 0,0,0. I'm not sure how to do that in 3ds max, since I use blender. For textures, make sure you have a materials.cs file that is mapping textures to your new parts, since you renamed them.

Okay, thank you, everything should be 0,0,0.

I have no idea how, but everything is located at right place now although I did everything the same. Texture problem was my own fault (changed it and didn't remember)
