I have changed my default vehicle after the 0.15 update. Now, it's a modded Autobello Piccolina. It has red paint (Rosso Fuoco) with white stripes, disc brakes in all wheels with red calipers, race suspension, race 1500 engine with twin Webers, oil cooler mounted on the rear, 5-speed gearbox, LSD, sports interior, wooden three spoke steering wheel and Autobello Type 2 wheels with race tires. I have lots of fun driving this little Italian beast!
its a 14min video(not good at editing video soo) i would say the first 6min is worth watching edited: using a g27 steering + h shifter.
An ode to my default car in BeamNG - the black S-Series Spoiler: DISCLAIMER (Before this, sorry for risking for posting this piece of thingy I wasted an hour of my life creating it, I wish Nadeox1 and other staff can understand it) It's freakin' heavy. (It weights about 1800-2000 kg I think, I swear I have weighed it some time before) It's overly powerful for road use. (About 700+ hp I think) It's badly modified. (by me) It's poorly tuned and optimized. (by me again) It's hard to control at higher speeds. (thanks for the stupid "mods" I made for the car) It contains mods not approved by @NinetyNine! (sorry for that) for public release. (don't worry, I won't do that) It does not contain all those new features modern ETKs and newer mods has. It has been declared as "outdated" since several versions ago. (surprisingly it still works) It has some bugs that could potentially break the mod and even the game. It's begging for a massive remake. It has so many reasons to complain about. It's not the best car ever. But it never attempted to change my mind. It's the car I set to default since I got the game. It has lived on in every computer that I own. It has lived on in every Beam version since the car was launched. It has appeared in nearly every map I got. It covered miles and miles of asphalt and dirt. It has been destroyed several times over and over again. It broke the game on several instances. It's has been part of my BeamNG life. I was worried that something isn't right. I was worried an update breaks my car. I try to fix the car if I can't drive it anymore. I try to improve everything even with my limited knowledge of modding. I was scared NinetyNine! himself will find me for doing "illegal" edits for his mod. I pray to the BeamNG gods in order no bug in the coming update prevents me to drive my default. I risked my life and my game, and made a million mods to make this unique car totally mine. And I have no regrets. I tried to replace this gem with everything else. Maybe like a modified white Fiat Uno. (thanks @naguluna for this great mod) Or maybe a convertible Satsuma 210. (thanks @mike94 for this great mod) Or maybe a boosted Ibishu Kashira. (thanks @Re:Z_IA for this great mod) Or maybe a rusty limo Oldsmobile. (thanks @SergentFido for this great mod) Or maybe a Gavril GM cop car. (thanks BeamNG for this) Or maybe some car that I made in Automation. (thanks Camshaft Software for the game) Or even some car that I imagined of (no thanks for myself, I never really realized that "car") But every time I tried so hard to change it, I can't really find a reason to do so. Every time I changed my default, I will always return to the trusty black S-Series at some point. Thanks to BeamNG for the game and it's fabulous modding capabilities. Thanks to NinetyNine! for the fabulous car and all those great mods you made. Thanks for the developers for the great updates that actually improves the game. Thanks to everyone in this community who actually gave suggestions that actually help this game look better. Thanks to me for, erm...existing? It may have all those pesky bugs that I couldn't care about. It may have been outdated in future updates. It's not so perfect. But I'm still using it. And I will plan to make it my BeamNG default car forever. -F12
