I haven't noticed this before. Currently sounds start to lag if I have ~8 cars spawned.

I did not find any discusssion of this.

    AMD Ryzen 5 1600x
    16Gt Ram
    AMD R9 280x 3gb

You might be hitting the how many sounds can be played at the same time (if the other vehicles have their engines on)

Try messing with the Audio setting in Options > Audio.
There's a setting for the quality, which controls how many sounds can play at the same time. Try 'High'.

Other vehicles didn't have engines on. I tried every setting in audio, nothing affected (however, I didn't reload map or game while testing settings). Reinstalling game atm.

There is something blocking of FPS counter in your video, but lower fps can always bring oddities.

I'm thinking here if it is hardware load or audio device related, I did try to repeat your test:

Thing is that I have USB soundcard Roccat Juke 7.1, which has been huge improvement over Realtek onboard audio in sound quality and also in performance, onboard audio did seem to cause bit higher CPU usage, maybe because of it's drivers or something, but I'm avoid of all hisses, clicks and pops now, things just work in audio wise much better with this. Only negative is that microphone level is bit lower, but I don't think that is too much lower and I don't really use microphone for anything unless there is no way around of that :p

I'm bit puzzled why in recording my car appears to lag even at 60fps at times, but maybe that is just that OBS / file operations / something / is getting delays as CPU is utilized so much. I don't get temps over 50C on CPU unless doing long rendering at this time of year.

Still I did not get such audio lag as in your video, but there was one hiccup in audio I think, not really sure how to replicate the issue, maybe it might happen with 9 or 10 cars for me or maybe not, might need more testing.

Oh, have you tested without those added UI apps? Does it happen also without those too?

Fps was around 40-60. Seems like I don't get audio issue if I spawn all these cars now and test it. But it happened when I customized all those cars (played about 1 hour). Also happened once in empty grid map with 9 stock cars and playing for ~1 hour. Anyways, I did reinstall Beamng after this and will see if it happens anymore ->

Hmm, that is interesting point, there could be some leak causing issue to surface only with time. Pinpoint what is causing it might require quite bit of some testing, which is perfectly valid reason spending rest of the day playing BeamNG :)
