Hello, I am making an offroad map. I hate the most off road maps because they are often unrealistic or too extreme. Their are 2 off road maps that I like. "Hopper hole park" and "glass view mountains". I live in Belgium and I want to make an off road map with simple but technical trails like we have in Belgium. I am new in map creation and this is what I have so far.

The only proplem that I have is that I want to make trails. So I try to make a trail where its deeper where the tyres are and higher mud against the axles of the vehicle like this.

But I find it hard to make those like trails. I can't make the "grap terrain" or "rais/lower height" brush not small enough to make such trails. Is there any way to do this ? Thanks for te help !

    Greetz Elias !

I had the same problem when I started using the map editor. It depends on how big your ground pane is. The smaller it is, the smaller brush size you can get.

I think you shouldn't make your terrain smaller. Use 'MeshRoad editor'. Choose hieght and scale you need and in 'TerrainEditor' (in world editor 'F2') use 3 last instrumets. It could be useful for you

Yep, but even with the smallest ground pane it's pretty hard to make those little trails for the wheels look good

To get ruts that work well you need a higher resolution map with a small scale, for glass view mountains i use a 4096 res map with the scale set a 0.4. If you go even smaller you can get more detail on the terrain.
