Guys, just a refresher: please post at least one image or video in this thread with each new post, even if you have a question. If you have a question for someone in Community Screenshots and don't have an image available, please use PM. And if you see someone ignoring this rule, just report it and move on. Not only do we not want to double or triple our workload for posts to clean up or delete, reports draw our attention to any issues far better than profane rants. Lastly, yes, you are expected to observe community behavioral guidelines even when addressing those who are not observing the rules themselves. This has been an Occam's Razer PSA, thank you for your attention. OT: Back in the saddle again...
Trying to get that perfect run at Pikes peak, record that to AI path and then seeing AI not being quite up to a pace... Neutral to mild oversteer setup is not the best for AI.
I've brought up cars I was "doing", posted pictures of meshslaps, and even intentionally took credit for a car that was not mine (Thank you Nissanfan515 for being ok with it), and it's finally time to reveal what I've been doing all along... I present to you, a sneak peek of the main project, the 2004/2005 Volvo S60! ----------------------------------------------- Contributers: Me- Import/Edits (assetto-corsa) @Mad Genexixs- Jbeam/Glowmaps (Not started yet since he is working on that amazing Cefiro mod of his!) @henryjhost- (may or may not) provide sounds, still need to touch base with him and a few others that will be mentioned later on ;D ----------------------------------------------- Projected realistic variants: - 2.0T (Default) - 2.4 - 2.4T - 2.4T AWD - 2.5T - 2.5T AWD - T5 2.3 - T5 2.4 - R (6-speed manual transmission) - R (5-speed automatic transmission) - R (6-speed automatic transmission) will also take suggestions, or corrections if a mistake was made or a variant was missed ----------------------------------------------- Projected fictional variants: - Police (w/ UK Livery) - Drag - Stanced - Rocketbunny/Liberty Walk - Tuner - Ricer - Lucaas Special (Exact replica of one of my early cars) will also take suggestions ----------------------------------------------- Overall Progress: Exterior Model (not including extra parts): 66% Interior Model (not imported yet): 35% Exterior Textures: 89% Interior Textures: 0% (ripperonis) Engine Model (for Default): 5% Suspension Model (for Default): 0% Extra Parts: 10% Variant Creation: 7% (default variant and part of the R variant) Jbeam: 0% (may start soon) Skin/UVs: 0% (no skins are needed at this time) My main focus for right now is getting all the default stuff done first. And after we're satisfied, we move on to other variants and other extras. Sound good to y'all? Now, for the most important part... PICTURES! (sneak peek style baby): Rear: Front: 40MPH Crash (with sunburst jbeam): ----------------------------------------------- I still need help with stuff such as part creation, skins, UVs, and someone to help import interior. Please, if you have the sufficient skills, don't be afraid to send me a private message! ----------------------------------------------- Get hyped bois! Also, the reason I posted this here is I think that this isn't sufficient progress to make for its own thread I don't wanna waste precious space for other amazing mods. If it is, please do tell me and I will work on it as soon as tomorrow. Thanks for looking! ----------------------------------------------- Projected thread release date: January 19, 2019 Projected first public release goal: (hopefully) Febuary 24, 2019 - March 15, 2019
nice little drive in my wagon. Also, if anyone knows mods for the Burnside hit me up. I'm looking for specifically, a Burnside mod that makes the car have a box on top with roof rack. (as seen here, but was taken down i presume.)
Apparently with dynamic reflections on, I can run almost 3 cars with 60fps, not quite, should of closed browsers and other software, it could of done it then, maybe. VRM on this system seem never got much above 40, also CPU fan speed seem not to have much effect to CPU temp, 300rpm, 700rpm or 1200rpm are almost the same, only 4 degrees difference with 3 cars in Italy.

Following a few attempts at the dust bowl, it may not quite love you back: Just about every attempt ended with the car being buried in mud or locking up after overheating. The farthest distance record belongs to the car in the first screenshot, which made it all the way from the starting line to the bottom of the pictured hill.
It has an inherent disadvantage when dealing with intense heat. It has no coolant to absorb the heat spikes, just oil, so as soon as it even starts to overheats... it's done.
