Computer help

Hey there my name is Jeremy and whin I was playing torque3D to edit the map I had to use most of the f1 keys but when I hit them it will do stuff like make my brightness higher or bring up help can any one help me go to settings and fix this ?

 

I'm guessing you're on a laptop? There should be FN written on one of the keys. Hold that while you use any of the F keys.

Somewhere in the settings you should be able to set it to where you either hold fn then push an f key to do normal f functions or have it reversed. I cant tell you exactly where the options menu for it is but I know it is possible as I have done it with my laptop.

I'll try to get my laptop running again and try to give you some more in depth steps to do it. Are you on windows 7?
