As far as I know, there's no real way to disable this feature, especially if you purchased BeamNG through Steam...or logged into BeamNG here through Steam either.

I can't really help you, other than saying it's possible to alter what the license plate says via the license plate name at the bottom of the Parts Menu.

You can save a custom plate via your "default" vehicle. You can change the plate text on it and then save the config and tell the game to set it as your default (top bar in vehicle selector menu).

The other would be to set your steam to offline mode and play the game, since it then will randomly generate plate text.

If you start game by double-click the "X:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\BeamNG.drive\BeamNG.drive.exe" The plate number are ramdom.
If you start from Steam then the number is your name

This question has been answered multiple times throughout the years so maybe should be included in FAQ (if not already).
But anyway as mentioned above the usual way of doing that is launching your game from its folder. Havent tested an option of setting Steam to offline mode tho.
