Ok this all started when I was trying to upgrade from jellybean to marshmallow. I got safestrap on there I rooted it and installed the gapps and rom and it booted up with marshmallow. Eventually I rebooted it and on bootup it just stayed on the boot screen forever or it just forever loaded apps (optimizing them to) so I reinstalled them and it booted up again but still had the problem I tried everything from clearing davlik cache and just factory resetting and trying different gapps but none of it worked. than I tried to change the Rom slot from stock to slot 1 and this is where the real problem began. I installed everything again then rebooted it showed the motorola logo than the screen went black and thats all it did. I could boot into recovery but safestrap was not there and I got the red triangle so I brought up the menu for the recovery and tried factory resetting and clearing cache but none of it worked. So I was like OH it has a corrupted version of android and wont boot so I came upon Batakang and installed it and tried the fix android version 6.x.x but I wanted original jellybean which is like 4.1.2 but I did it anyway and now everytime I boot up it just goes into ap fastboot mode and says root failure and below it says Invalid CG OTV (CG: webtop): Invalid SP data Invalid CG Version (CG:Webtop) Invalid CG OTV (CG:Webtop) and thats all it says. Now I cant even get into recovery because it just boots into ap fastboot. I know I will probably not get a response since not really many people use the droid razr (xt912) or even tried rooting and putting a rom on it. I saw on the xda developer threads that the jellybean software was not released yet but that was back in 2013 so I am not sure about now.
You should be able to re-flash it with Odin (or similar). Worst case scenario you need a new phone (which you probably need anyways because that phone is ancient). Also this thread would probably be fit for computer hardware since that was a smartphone is (just a specialized type of computer).
Ok thanks for your help I will ask the devs to delete the thread since I figured out and found android jellybean to flash. I am probably going to buy the samsung s7 soon anyways but I thought it would be fun refurbishing this phone.
