Hello I am new to modding and tried to follow the tutorial (https://wiki.beamng.com/Introduction_to_Vehicle_Creation) and only got to the part of viewing the Jbeam in-game, I have checked it and believe that I did it all correct, but the vehicle does not show up in game and I don't know why anyone able to help would be greatly appreciated .

Hi, Does the vehicle is displayed in the vehicle selector?
Does the camera stay fixed after you tried to spawn the car? if yes you have a jbeam parsing error.
You need to use the in-game console (~ - tilde key) or look at the beamng.log to see where the error is located

Have you tried zipping the file because I also was following that tutorial and was unable to see my vehicle in the selector until I zipped it and put it in the mods folder

A few things are incorrect here:
First of all, the first folder in the zip should be called "vehicles" in case of a vehicle, "levels" in case of a map etc.

Then, the next folder should be the name of the vehicle:

In the "roadster" folder, the jbeams and models etc can be found. They are files with a .jbeam format:

Your files look like this(note the file structure):
