Trying to make a personal license plate mod.

Hello, everyone. I wanted to try to make a licenseplate mod, but the official tutorial seems to be way too complicated for me. Honestly, I had no experience in both coding and making textures before, so I'd love to find a person who'd help me to solve some problems and questions. Thank you in advise.

What are you having trouble with exactly?

 

Well, it's a long list of things I have troubles with. Firstly, I don't understand where to get or make these texture files for the custom font, marked as "platefont_d/_n/_s.png" in the official example of the code from the wiki page. I can guess that they're automatically created by the game, but I'm afraid they aren't...

 

Plate fonts are automatically generated unless you wish to create a custom font

 

I do wish to add my own fonts to the mod, and that's the problem. I hope I didn't misunderstand you, buddy.

 

Ah ok, I see what you mean now. I've never made my own licence plate font before, so I can't help you there. Hopefully someone else will be able to give you a hand
