Bit of a heads up and fair warning. I may not be able to finish the skin pack in time for the January update. Some irl stuff has been eating at my time to work on the pack and I've only been able to finish 3 out of 7 skins I have planned for the pack. Thus, if I do not get the update done in-time, it will be pushed to the end of February with the next update. Speaking of which, the next update will also be the final update for content in my mod pack before it goes on hiatus. That does not mean that I won't update the pack or make more skins. I will merely stop content updates for this mod until an indefinite time and will still be doing bug fixes and adding configs (when I figure that out). I wanted to take a break from constantly keeping up a schedule and constantly worrying about the end of the month. During my hiatus, I may get onto making single skins (like some of N3r0's content) for new mods or this one, learning to make configs, figuring out a better update system/schedule, or just doing stuff completely unrelated to Beam.NG. I hope you guys c.an understand
With this new month and a Superbowl Halftime letdown, comes another batch of skins for my mod pack. This will be the last monthly set of new skins for my skin pack until I decide to reopen it for commissions. Speaking of which, the next set of requests will now be open today. Same five skins, same rules save for a some additions: First-come-first-serve One request per person (unless otherwise stated) Specifications on what you want (car, decal placements, etc.) Limit one character unless request is for an entire show/game/franchise 1) [open slot] 2) [open slot] 3) [open slot] 4) [open slot] 5) [open slot] Do bear in mind that this will not be the last update entirely. It has been brought to my attention that I need to be changing a large element of all of my skins in order to prevent the possibility of my mod being removed (this created some trouble in developing the Kaito skin). Thankfully and oddly enough, that has not happened yet, however it is a pressing matter to me enough to do something about it. That will be done after Feb/Mar update in a future one. Next, next update, I will be reworking all of the skins to better suit the issue and perhaps reworking some skins that I feel are lackluster. If you're a repository moderator reading this right now, thank you for letting me get past and how did I get past?! Another thing I want to take care of after the next update is configs. I want to make configs for my cars but I've not the time, patience, nor knowledge on how to make them over the last few months. While I can cannibalize someone's config pack while having the Beam.NG wiki open, I do not want to merely make a vanilla config with an awesome skin slapped on; I want to have custom parts and components as seen in Lamzumi-chan's mod pack. I've had the pleasure of being able to see his/her upcoming updates to the mod pack and, I'll admit, I'm a little jealous, perhaps more than that. So, in the coming months (post-rework), I'm planning to learn the .jbeam and how to make configs first and foremost and then learning to make parts. Great you want to do Jbeams and own configs also good you want to rework skins because some of them are a bit unfinished (you can see the grid and for example Koneko skin is just inverted on one side and it don't look good). I think also good idea will be making skins for cars from mods like coupe pessima, sedan ETK 800 etc. About patience take your time we'll wait.
(I don't think there are any 2hus yet sooooooo) Could you maybe do a Shinmyoumaru skin for the Piccolina?? The idea is they're both wayy small (and I stole the idea from a Forza skin.. ^^; ) Spoiler: Shinmyoumaru! I'm not really sure on what kinda specific design types I would want, soo be creative! Oh, and thanks for even offering to do requests (regardless of if you do mine or not!) It makes me wish I had motivation to try something with skinning or such aaaaa Feel free to ask if you need anything extra (´｡• ᵕ •｡`)
The next content update should be done by the end of February. That will add the next five skins and the ones from the previous batch. The reworks, configs, and others will be done when they're done, although I'll make a goal of finishing by the end of each subsequent month.
So I've been trying to get all the characters to fit right on the skin for a while and I've had some trouble fitting all the characters onto one car. I've asked a few people and we've agreed that coming down to one character is going to be the best way to go for the skin, so that's what I'm going to have to do with it. I'm going to need you to choose one of the characters from your list (or another).
The Frappe Skin for the Covet now shows "No Texture." I wanted to show off the car to my friend who just started watching My Hero can you please fix?
For now, just download a previous version of my mod. It should work there. I found the issue in that the image file for the skin itself is the wrong format and it will be fixed in the next update. --- Post updated ---
@makaphin I already love this skin since the day I requested it! Maybe you can make a V2 but make it more (how we should say) "hot". ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Glad to see that you still enjoy the skin. If you want a V2, you can propose a design by drawing one, or giving me a picture then telling me exactly what you want off of it. It may be a while before I get it done though, since I have my hands full with my skin pack.
