Because they’re badly matched beamng jbeams slapped onto unfitting, low quality meshes. Some also have viruses built in. Don’t use them. Devilistic Josh makes some decent supercar mods, and I think @AgentMooshroom5 makes private ones, but I’m not sure how willing he is to share them,
I guess you have heard about fake news? Idea is to make so much news that look like news, but are just rubbish, that it is hard to tell which is real news and which is some rubbish. Confuse the enemy, make enemy immobile, just normal tactics, releasing ton of rubbish that looks like cool mod so that people start disliking mods, making people hate games that have modding capability. On larger scheme aim is to change world to direction where you are being told what you can do instead of being free creative individual. All of above was fake news btw. Oh yes, needs links for credibility: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internet_Research_Agency But think, what if they are targeting modding communities?
They normaly make crappy mods. Some of them even have some very easy scripts to rewrite the BIOS And render the computer unbootable. I looked threw a new Russian mod and I found this line: @Echo off *sleepcylce 291=kth* *unistall MicrosoftC drivers.exe* *shutdown* -next startup = mkg -.run.., -shutdown.exe loop This code is made to shutdown your pc on strartup. And loop the procceses. Its easy to recover it. Boot in safe mode. and go to regedit and delete the key and string restart. And shutdown and reboot. It will NOT shut the pc down
I've been working on ruski mods since early w2017 and have received no viruses despite having no antivirus
