So check this - i have a 2017 Audi R8 V10 mod for GTA SA, and i want to convert it to beamng. I just want to convert the car, not really the wheels. I'l just slap some wheels from BeamNG.

I don't really care about reflections, or numplates. i just want to have the car in the game. Anybody know the good tools and a nice tutorial? I can't find anything. I dont think Zmodeler or blender is good for that.

I don't know jack's shit about BeamNG cars, i only do SA modded cars. I use Zmod2. Also cars dont have separated parts like mirrors, tires, etc.
Do you have a Telegram so we can talk?

BeamNG is quite different from other games, car itself is bunch of nodes and beams, while actual mesh is just decoration to that skeleton.

SBR4 would work as a base vehicle and you would just replace needed flexbodies (your meshes in dae files).

Reflections and license plates don't have much to do with challenges, it is getting wheels in and making it work like real car, for that you need node beam structure and editing ton of files.

Anyways looks like you got help for that, which is really great.

You will need to find some way to convert the mesh to make it openable in programs like blender. But its actually quite easy to get anything into beamng. Now the only thing you might struggle with is making parts break off of it such as the bumper or the door. You will need to make a jbeam for the vehicle too [aka a hitbox] for it. I have a yz250 mod for gta 5 and I ported it to beamng. I never got time to finish it though lol

To begin with, divide the 3D model into parts (such as bumper, headlights, doors, hood and others)

For in my case (Audi R8), Bolide base could help. And as well, i can easily export the bumpers, hood, doors and trunk. Then i can use jbeam and? Dont know any else.

I'd not recommend the boiled, the k series might work better.

Put the R8 onto a SBR4 jbeam. Bolide wont fit a modern supercar.
