Ray tracing in BeamNG

I’m going to buy an RTX 2060 and was wondering if Beam utilizes ray tracing or if it plans to

 

I know it doesn't, and it's probably not on the to-do list, however I don't think a dev has weighed in yet.

Also, the RTX 2060 isn't very good for real time ray tracing. If you want to do that, get an RTX 2080 or 2080 Ti. Otherwise, wait for the GTX 1160 or 1660 or whatever they call it.

 

Ha! Yeah, cant afford that. Still prefer the 2060 over a 1070

 

I doubt that the 1660 will come anywhere close the non ray tracing performace of the 2060, if it did there would be no point for one of them to exist.
