I think a BeamNG.drive hoodie with the logo and stuff would look really cool. Anyone else want some merch we can purchase? I'm willing to blow $50 for a hoodie
Ooohhh, that would be super cool! I need a(nother) new programming hoodie anyways, haha. (*^▽^*) True, but it would also support development of the game, which I think justifies the slightly higher cost.
Remember, the game is still at its alpha access price. As for the topic in general, it comes up once in awhile and most of the community seems to think it would be a good idea. A new way to support development for a game priced under what it should be. Unfortunately, the most desirable merchandise product would probably be the most expensive to produce for a company but the easiest for players to make at home (models of in game vehicles)
It could be one of the first games/simulations to branch out into car part merch... imagine having replica rims from the game, steering wheels, fuzzy dice, tailgates, etc. Maybe not... Maybe it might not even happen with Namco, Valve, Nintendo, etc. but it would be cool! Pokeball rims, Question block fuzzy dice, and a Portal themed speed gauge! (But isn't that rice?)
Exactly, I wouldn’t really be too interested in buying a BeamNG hoodie (mainly because I live in Australia and would probably only use it once a year) but I would certainly be interested in buying a model of one of BeamNGs unique vehicles. I would absolutely love to have a 1/24 or 1/18 scale Burnside Special, Piccolina etc.
I'd wait until after the game was released. If merch is planned, it likely wouldn't be made until that point.
I do so hope that Mattel jumps on a collaboration with Beamng... I mean, we've already got the ability to build tracks in the track builder - and we can even paint them orange already!
I'm going to say again what I said before, if FNAF, BATIM, Minecraft, etc, can get all of the merch they got, why not BeamNG?
