Is it free for members to use in their maps?

(Providing they give credit of course)

Yes, like everything I have made, free to use and improve.

Have been working on this after moved, but not sure if it will be finished, have more important IRL matters that take my time now.

They're kinda like typical Asian bridges that are common around markets I believe.

References are bit hard to find, especially inside of roof structures etc.

Some in western world refer them as wind and rain bridges, very beautiful and old Chinese designs from time of dynasties. There probably is proper chinese name and articles about them that could shed bit more light on construction and measurements etc. but for now I have been only eyeballing from four photos of three bridges like one example below:

It will take a long time to complete that as some aspects are bit complex to model, even mostly it is quite easy use of array and mirror modifiers, but roofs will be a challenge with my lack of experience.

There is three of this design in Xijiang village, at least three, base is different in all of them, but top is pretty much same. Totally different than anything in western world that I know of and I'm not sure that this type is very common even in China, all of this kind have been in that single village that I have found any references to.

I need to learn much more from ancient Chinese architecture to better understand the design and to be able to replicate construction even somewhat closely.

Currently I'm moving bits and pieces around and try to nail width and length as well as spacing of elements, narrow and wide sections etc. It's proving to be difficult with only few photos taken from distance.

Quite puzzled with this specific bridge as it appears to be kinda modern, but yet ancient design, some say skills needed to build these bridges were lost in history, but this one is like new in so many ways.

I have seen some references that claim these designs would be from time of Song Dynasty, which was around year 1000, but there is not knowing for me how old each of these bridges are. After all, area has earthquakes afaik. Maybe they have rebuilt some by copying existing bridge etc.
