Oh, I forgot .. I was 5 hours ago. highway m5 ufa-chelyabinsk. there was a lot of traffic jams, blocking the road. The moment a major accident is a dead body. I'll take down the horror photo ... it's not my truck. Be careful on the road and speeding mode. good luck i'm tired and sleepy

made the journey up the shanghai tower today, the 2nd tallest building in the world, and home to the fastest elevator ever recorded, something close to 75km/h. went back to the bottom, and stumbled upon a Nio ”dealership” or tech showcase..? and guess what i saw... anyone who’s been paying attention in the automotive world will recognize this extremely new and rare beauty:

sheesh. these are some fast lifts :p
my ears popped so many times on the way up, and about 10x more on the way down. i can only imagine what it would be like going even faster, on maybe a taller building in the future.

Been working on some plates today
Steampunk plane for my mechanical drawing, I made it in Paint tool SAI, took me the whole afternoon till evening to finish this. It's not that detailed like I wanted the plane to be cause it'll take me more time than the deadline is due. Not yet finished tho it's still a work in progress and outlines of the planes are required :p

Watercolor painting for my Freehand drawing major, started this in the morning and it's almost done :p

been having lots of fun riding the unlocked ofos around (and occasionally mobikes), but for some reason my apps aren't working so i can't unlock them myself. was supposed to leave yesterday but my flight got cancelled, so i'm still in shanghai lol. i managed to "acquire" a hub motor, basic controller, and other miscellaneous parts (throttle, electronic brake levers, grips, bell, seat, etc.) from an old trashed ebike that's been laying in the street since before i got here, so it looks like the moped at home is going electric ;)

1972 Puch Maxi S btw, not sure where i'll put the battery. i'm gonna make my own, so that gives me some flexibility i suppose. the 36V 500W motor i managed to get is going to be pretty weak, but it comes with a freewheel and i should be able to drive it just fine with pedal input. hoping to upgrade to a 1000W or even 1500W 48V system eventually, something that would never require me to pedal (unless i want more range), but this motor was free so i'm not about to turn it down just because of personal preference :p
hydraulic disc front brakes are planned too, which this motor seems perfect for
