OMG that actually looks like a real-life Sunburst! Great job!!! Edit: Well, almost. Looks great, though!
Something I've blendered up last evening... It's a fictional coach bus, I'm calling it the... Skåinlila Journey By the Norwegian Coach and Truck company, Skåinlila. BTW: It's just a model. I'm not planning on putting it into BeamNG or anything...
My Nissan Hardbody. Been having some really frustrating issues with textures thus why I haven't updated my beam post but here she is in all studio glory. haha.
Did some renders of an I series I copied the render idea from a pic I saw Also just found some random wheels to throw on because i'm lazy
I made a procedural wood texture: It's pretty nice for baking onto objects. Any ideas on how I can improve it?
Just finished rendering this scene so it is fresh off the press. this scene took me about two weeks??? no maybe one week? I dont know well all I know is it felt like eternity. I first modeled the car but than I was like well now what, So I modeled a house than a tree than more trees than done. The car is still not ready for close up all I need to do is figure out how to model head lights (my worst enemy) if anybody has any tips for modeling head lights let me know because that will be very helpful(there currently textures). Well thats enough backstory so I guess I will give you the image now. If you want to you can check my art station out here https://www.artstation.com/lazercar there is a lot of images I have not posted here. I am also wondering if I should switch to blender 2.8 or stay with blender 2.79, let me know if blender 2.8 is even worth it. It has eevee but my computer is not that powerful so I doubt I would be able to use eevee.
2.8 is worth it, since Eevee either way renders faster than cycles render. Not sure about how fast compared to blender render, but it's gives a much better result than it
The handle shape seems a bit off, maybe consider making the handle smaller or making the parts where it attaches to the body not converge. But other than that, it's great.
Does anyone experience a problem with what you select in a tick box not applying itself. I've been going bananas over a problem where I keep ticking a checkmark for emission for an object, but when I work on another frame and come back, I find that the tickbox isn't ticked. Is there something wrong? Anyways here's what I'm trying to animate (making both images "disolve" into thin air).
Have you checked that the tickbox has a keyframe? If it doesn't it'll keep resetting every time you play the animation.
