I took a weeks holiday last week, so have been getting back to work with my game.

The above is more of a "stress test" scenario, I don't currently plan to make the levels that complex (big) when finished. Smaller but more intricate levels is the plan.

Today I added error catching for the simulation, so if its not possible for a destination to be reached, the game will notice, rather than causing an infinite loop on the simulation thread. I have also added a progress bar for the route finding portion of loading. The game currently runs quick enough that its usually not seen, but its worth having it there in case regardless.

The current rate of development for the game isn't super high, but progress is progress, and it is moving forward.

I’ve been circumstantially forced to work 80-90 hour weeks for the past 2 months, and it’s starting to catch up with me. God, I’m tired.

The dealer said the abs control module either is broken or has contact issues as it sometimes works and sometimes the abs doesnt work. There are ways to fix the control module but that costs 250 euros but its still better than it being completly broken because that costs 1000 euros wich is to much for a 19 year old car wich is worth only 2000 euros

Can’t have your ABS fail if you have no ABS

In theory, abs controller would only impact abs. You should still have regular braking just fine.

that what was wierd for me because when the error first popped up it was like my handbrake was on but after i restarted the car it was just fine again. It also wasnt the abs controller itself it was a slightly loose connection wich is now fixed luckily. It also has a similar problem with the ESP sensor as this also has a slightly corroded connection

Connectors can at least be fixed. I still have a very rarely occuring misfire in my car so now have an oscilloscope set up on loan from work for a few weeks, currently connected to MAP, TPS and primary O2 sensors

My connector got fixed actually rather easily with loads of wd40 and a bit of tape so it wont move around anymore. Also hoping for you that you find the fault!

Wow, sounds like this is a daily trip for you. Kind of surprising, but at the same time it isn't. Glad you're safe atleast.

Fixed the pedals on my DFGT for the second time this week after the epoxy and wood failed.

I repaired it the same way I fix everything else that breaks more than 1 time. Looks like duct tape really does fix everything.

Had a few visitors today, they’ve spent pretty much the whole day here and are still hanging around.

Not a great picture, I had to take it through a window.

So, thinking about the laser-scanning equipment used by some AAA developers to replicate roads and tracks.

Does anyone happen to know how accurate it is really? I'm finding some plans for environmental scanners online and am trying to see how well they might stack up against the prebuilt equipment used by professionals. Not that I have anything against professional-quality tools, but I have my doubts about being able to afford that kind of equipment within my timeframe - must be functional and returning accurate results by the end of this summer.
