My Name is Lyndon

I am a computer technician in a school. I deal with people who do not know what a monitor is and call a desktop a hard drive. I live in Dorset County (region) of the united kingdom. (I'm not giving the town name though.) I like to collect computers (basically hoarding). i own like 20 pre 2012 laptops because I like messing around with them and refurbishing them. Most of these are older Dell XPS devices which I collect.

I drive a 2006 silver Honda Jazz (1.3DSi), a great little Runner. especially for what I paid for it (£800). The gearbox makes a nice grinding noise, it has a hole in the boot and it has a nice lingering cigarette smell I'm trying to get rid of. still better than my former car: a 2005 Peugeot 206.

all my old PC specs

pre 2008 - Compaq presario 5000 - athlon xp, 256mb ddr800, 20gb HDD, xp home edition

2008 to 2012 - fujitsu amilo something or other - Celeron dual core, 1gb ddr2, and a radeon GPU ran vista basic on a 120gb hdd.

2012 to 2013 - dell optiplex GX620 - 80gb HDD, p4 3ghz, 1GB ddr2 and windows 7 pro.

2013 to 2014 - Dell Optiplex 745 - Core 2 duo 1.86Ghz, 4gb ddr2 and a 250gb HDD ran Windows 7 pro.

2014 to 2016 - Packard bell extreme - i3 530, 4gbs ddr3 and a 250gb HDD running windows 7 home - this machine was upgrades in 2015 to a GT640 (a scam card) and to 6Gbs ddr3 and in 2016 it was upgraded with a GT730 and a 1TB hard drive

2016 to 2017 - in late 2016 the previous Packard bell died so I bought a HP pro 3010 that had a 2.93Ghz pentium d, I used the RAM from the old one and the GPU / hard drive it also had Windows 10 pro

2017 to 2019 - I built a custom PC which had an AMD FX 6300, 12GBS ddr3 and the gt730 and hard drives from the previous HP. this machine had its case, CPU, motherboard, and RAM upgraded in 2018 to an FX8350, 16GBs of ddr3 and an RX460 and then a 1050ti. the power supply also blew so that was upgraded to a vs550. the CPU was upgraded again to a. i7 6700k as well as a ram and motherboard upgrade

2019 to 2021 - Dell XPS 730:

I am currently learning to drive. The car I am learning in is a 2005 (55 plate) Peugeot 206. I'm nearly there. I think I might buy a civic or something once I have completed it.

I'm Lyndon. I like computers, Hondas and Computer games. I mainly spend my life at college where I study the BTEC national diploma in computer science and playing, Minecraft with my cousin. My main pc is custom built by myself and it was started in 2017. it started off with a gt730, in a hp pro 3010 casing. I then upgrade to an AMD fx 6300 which was a heat generator and then an AMD fx 8350, and now an i7 6700k. I do a lot of pc repairs, my current project is not a pc repair but sort of a sleeper build. I am converting a Dell XPS 710 case from btx to atx. I will eventually use this as my main pc case. my secondary pc is a Dell XPS 420, love this system, really fast and looks cool. it has a core 2 quad and 8gbs ddr2. I decided to use an xps 730 casing as my pc case. looks awesome.

Finally learnt to drive, and I am still driving the Peugeot - unfortunately, cylinder 2 is dying
