    Story:
Karin Idaho was a mid-size sedan made for the American market by Karin Motors from Japan and Declasse Motors from the US in 1988. It was meant to be a family car with a bit of luxury.

The design came from the "Tahoma Luxury" concept car that Declasse showed off at the American Auto Show back in 1980. In 1986, Karin and Declasse joined forces to create the Karin-Declasse joint venture. When they were working on the new car, Karin really liked the "Tahoma Luxury" concept and used it as the base, making a few changes here and there. Since the joint venture’s office was in Iowa, USA, they decided to call the first car they made together "Idaho," using a name that Declasse had stopped using before.

Under the hood, the Idaho had a JZ-3.0GE inline six-cylinder engine from Declasse, a 4-speed automatic transmission, and a 3.6L engine. It got about 11.5L per 100km. Apparently, the engine was supposed to be 3.0L but ended up being 3.6L by mistake, which actually gave it a bit more power. This made it popular in the tuning car scene.
When the Idaho hit the market in 1988, it did really well and won the "Best Family Car" award in its first year because it was more fuel-efficient and durable than other similar cars. The next year, Karin decided to bring the Idaho to the Asia-Pacific region and called it the "Imperial." They put the Karin logo on it and made a few tweaks to the back of the car before selling it as an import.

In 1990, they came out with a version of the Idaho for the taxi market. It had a FE-2.2 four-cylinder engine and a 5-speed manual transmission. Because it performed so well, some members of the Yardie gang started using it and even tricked it out.

By 1995, the Idaho’s platform was getting old, and sales weren’t great. There were also some disagreements within the joint venture, so they stopped making the Idaho and the joint venture broke up the next year. The next generation of the Imperial became a Japan-only model, and the Idaho never got a sequel.

Let's come back to this mod. This car is the best one I've made by now. Even if it doesn't have any movable parts yet. At the same time, I added the code of BeamNG car plates to the vehicle package. That means you can use other car plate MODs of BeamNG (though only US and CHN plates are available for now).

The problems we know at present are: In Idaho, the license plate moves upwards when configured. If you change the vehicle directly in the configuration interface, the vehicle will turn into an "off-road vehicle".
