The Abarca-Ramírez 40HP was one of the most legendary luxury cars in the world, and the company focused more on how their cars handled than on the interior.
The 40HP, as it's name says, had a 40 horsepower V10 engine. It was bolted onto a 4-speed fully synchronized gearbox - lightyears ahead of their time.
Abarca-Ramírez produced the first V10 engine in the world, and used advanced pushrod heads while other companies used flatheads. Thus, the engine didn't need to be very big. Only 282 cubic inches (4.6 liters).
The Spanish company made sure that it's suspension worked well, too. It floats over rough roads like cars 50 years ahead of its time.
The 40HP was known for it's reliability, and most surviving cars haven't ever had an engine rebuild. One was converted to a bus and has gone over 500,000 miles. It has been used for tours around Madrid since it was new.
The 40HP will only go about 50MPH. It was made over 100 years ago, after all.
This car has an animated steering wheel and gear shifter. It also appears in Career Mode, though it sells at about the price of a Scintilla.
