The Lodge Toiletter was US-made 1 ton light truck produced during WW2 and post-war (until 1947) and powered by 3.5 liter (119 bhp) roaring and noisy inliner-6 (well, what you can expect from truck), it was actually nicknamed the "Beeper" (because of censorship reasons) and was known as the Geeper's bigger brother. It was formidable 4x4 truck which could reach up to 92 km/h. 4-speed manual, it came with two spare wheels, shovels and couple of Jerry cans, because of its enormous fuel consumption (17 L/100 km). Although it was primarly used by American and British forces at the later war phase, mostly common as troop carrier or light support vehicle (with mounted M2 .50 BMG), it was also supplied to Soviet Union until the Cold War, and dozens of units were captured by Germans and even Italians. Produced in tens thousands of units, it was used even in the Korean War, sold to various allies from Yugoslavia, Greece or Turkey to the Philippines, Cuba, China and South Korea, it's spotted even now in some low-grade Third World countries as an "technical" light-armored vehicles. Surviving units in the US are often modified as "rat-rod" trucks because of their powerful engine and drifting abilities, mostly in California and surrounding states. This one originally had mounted .50 BMG and was known as "The Kraut Eater", but M2 was stripped down after decommision after the WW2, because, well of security reasons. Modeled after Dodge WC family light trucks.
