The 1962 Campbell GCV (General Cargo Vehicle) was an early means of commercial cargo transportation in 1960's USA.
By the 1960's, America was in desperate need of a cargo vehicle. Campbell decided to step up to the challenge and developed the GCV, a van that could be sold to any company that needed a means of goods transportation. After the GCV became available to buy, the money just started rolling in and it was smooth sailing for Campbell, who then made the 1979 2nd gen and 2012 3rd gen. (Coming soon)
Engine: 4.0L Cast Iron SOHC Carbureted 16-Valve V8 (95hp & 197nm)
Transmission: 4-speed Manual
Drivetrain: Front-engine, RWD, Open Diff
Weight: 1082kg / 2385lb
Top Speed: 95mph / 153kph
Body Type: Ladder Frame 3-door Van
This van, despite only having 95hp from it's Mk1 Campbell V8, is very wheelspinny because of it's skinny little tires and surprisingly small weight. Although it is from the 1960's, the age of automotive beauty, it isn't exactly what you'd call beautiful. (retches)
Enjoy(?) your 1962 Campbell GCV.
