Here's the Lore behind this vehicle.
Introduced in 1963, the Gavril Fuelsaver came available in a 2.2 litre Inline-4 engine that was reverse engineered from the Ibishu Miramar since Gavril at the time didn't have the resources to make an inline-4 engine of their own and a 3.8 litre Inline-6. In 1964, the 4.8 litre V8 engine was introduced due to popular demand, Although, the 4.8 variants had reliability issues due to the fact that the engine bay wasn't originally designed for the V8 engines themselves. In 1965, the Fuelsaver would be sold in the Eurpean market as the the Fuelsaver Freightage and it would also have a smaller 1.8 litre Inline-4 engine froim the Ibishu Miramar as well as the 2.2 litre Inline-4 used in the US models. It also had a 3.0 litre Inline-6 that was made smaller due to European emissions regulations. In 1968, the 2.2 litre Inline-4 engine would be dropped and only available in the fleet models up until 1971 and would still be available in the Euro-Spec vans. Also in 1968, the Fuelsaver name was dropped in Europe and it was only called the Freightage thereafter. And, the Gavril Fuelsaver HD was also introduced that same year and came available in either a 5.8 litre V8 or the 6.9 litre "Ultra Thrust" V8 that was exclusive to the HD models. The post 1968 models also fixed the issues that plagued the earlier models. The Fuelsaver was discontinued in 1971 and the Fuelsaver HD would be discontinued in 1974. The Freightage would be discontinued in 1991 and would be replaced with the 2nd-generation Freightage that used an all-new design. The original Freightage underwent several redesigns just like the D-Series pickups. The Fuelsaver would be replaced with the Gavril H-Series in 1972 and the HD models would follow suit with the Heavy Duty H-Series models. The first-generation H-Series would be replaced with the 2nd-gen H-Series in 1993 and would linger on until 2017.
This Gavril Fuelsaver is a 1964 model that originally had the 4.8 litre V8. But, the Myriad family replaced it with an engine from a 2nd-generation Ibishu Pessima that they found in the junkyard. They also added higher suspension, massive off-road tires, a turbocharger from the the ETK 2400ti which was also found in the junkyard and, a 4WD system from the Gavril D-Series. With a bunch of parts cobbled together, the Myriad family took their family van to the Gambler 500 rally and they were ready to have fun. The van also has an antenna for the Wi-Fi router, a real antenna for the radio, broken air-conditioning, a plastic spoiler which is only there for decoration and doesn't add any function whatsoever, a snorkel made out of a PVC pipe and, a porter potty that is attached to the back of the van itself with rope. Even if it's unstable, it is still a pretty capable off-road machine that can fling mud at every turn. Just be careful when climb huge rocks with it.
