Fictional Story:
A company that was located in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil during the 1960s decided to make a pickup truck, but not just any pickup truck. A left hand drive 4x4 pickup truck that could be exported to America, as well as other countries.
On Sunday, June 6th, 1965. The Macaw Passion 50 became available at dealerships across the city of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and it sold 55,000 models in 1965. In 1966, it sold 68,000 models. It also became available in America on Friday, April 29th, 1966. It sold 37,000 models in America in 1966.
On Wednesday, January 25th, 1967. The Macaw Passion 50 became available in Canada. Sadly, you could only buy it in Toronto and it sold just 4,500 models.
The production years of this truck were from 1965 to 1967. Macaw went out of business in Brazil on Tuesday, January 23rd, 1968.
