Before the oil crisis, Daemon Motors had many different performance cars on their showroom floor, and the one that was overlooked the most was their cheapest model, the Sprinter. Advertised as a competitor to European sports cars at the time, the Sprinter R/T had a reputation for being slow, cumbersome, and prone to spinning out. Thanks to it's bad reputation and poor safety, the Sprinter's lifespan was disappointingly short, only being built from 1965 to 1969.
