In the 1960s, Rich Halldale, the famous American tuner, decided to build a state-of-the-art supercar.
He took a Burnside V8, tuned it to 487 HP (gross HP of 550, hence the name), coupled it with a 5-speed racing manual and inserted into a fiberglass body to create likely the fastest street-legal car of the 60s. 4.4 seconds 0-60, 1.18 lateral g, treacherous snap oversteer.
