In 1968, after the 1968 Royal Super Miara failed to claim any pole and podium positions in the 1967-68 IARO-LM (International Automobile Racing Organization - Le Mans) racing event, Royal Motors went to their Calvinator division to request a new IARO-LM car. The 2nd generation Calvinator Model C, mainly the 1967 Calvinator Model C CRM Warrior, was making wins at GASCAR (Gamean Stock Car Auto Racing) and IARO-SCAR (IARO-Stock Car Auto Racing, international NASCAR basically) so Calvinator was the go to division. With the help of the Calvinator Racing Motors team (CRM), they created the 1969 Calvinator Model C Lauraville, named after a famous beach side race car track on the outskirts of Terso, Fruinia.
(Side Note: Now that we have an official map for Automation, Bearton (suburb of Los Calvos), where Royal Motor Corp is located just northeast of Occia, Gasmea... Atleast I think it is Gasmea on the map).
With a mid mounted engine, better suspension, and overall better handling, the vehicle dominated IARO-LM in the 1968-69 season, 1969-70 season, 1970-71 season, 1971-72 season, and finally the 1972-73 season, looking to dominate the 1973-74 season till it was banned just before the season start and right as the Gasmean Gas Crisis started.
The car was not street legal till 1995, and had an MSRP of $249,999 in USD in 1968, today being valued at roughly 2,2 million in 2023 USD, but today, a mint condition 1969-74 Model C Lauraville can cost anywhere between 22 million to 45 million in USD depending on the year. Cause they were not street legal, they were raced in events they could qualify in, which were few, so in 1995, when they were finally street legal, they had REALLY low mileage, accredited to the lack of street legality and competitions they qualified in.
