A company called Giovanni was influenced by the success of the American 1960s Ford Econoline, so in 1969. They decided to have a go at making a van themselves and they managed to come up with the 1969 VR-3. A 4WD Italian van. It sold 80,000 models in 1969 and in 1970. It sold around 95,000 models. In total. This van sold 198,000 models and this van's production would be from 1969 until 1976.
