1971 Grumett SL 1300 Sedan Concept Car 1.0

It was never actually designed or manufactured! There was a truck that shares part of this design

  1. Adrian Gutierrez
I have created the concept sedan model based on the real model of the Uruguayan Grumett SL manufacturing truck. This model was never manufactured or designed. I have realized the idea of creating a sedan model of what could have been at that time a 4-door sedan car of the range.

This truck began to be produced in December 1969, being the world's first small-size double-cab pick-up with a fiberglass body (in sheet metal there were several Japanese models already at the end of the 1950s and even the Renault Mini developed by Santa Rosa). From this basic version some very peculiar models were created such as a sedan (by adding a fiber cover on the box), From this basic version some very peculiar models such as a sedan were created (by adding a fiberglass top on the box), a version with a dome (resulting in a kind of small rural) and even a fastback modeled on the Opel Kadett Coupé. Its last evolution, certainly not very lucky, was in 1972, when the SL 1825 model was presented, with the rear window and upright, allowing more headroom for the rear seat passengers; the wider wheel arches, the bonnet with longitudinal ribs and a mask, quite similar to the one worn by the Pontiac Firebird of those same years,
