When the fuel crisis came, it suddenly turned out that even the six-cylinder pickups were too much for some customers. This was a perfect opportunity for Ibishu to sell their Hauler, a fuel-efficient, dependable pickup truck that nearly never skipped a beat, at least until corrosion got it off the road.
This one is a 2.0 LXT-4 model. It has 99 horsepower, rear-wheel-drive, a 4-speed manual and power steering, making it very ordinary for a 70s compact truck, and just right for cruising between out-of-gas stations.
