The most powerful race car in history is here!

After i did the 2018 Porsche 919 EVO, i wanted to do its older brother, the 1973 Porsche 917/30 or "The Can-Am Killer", still holding to this day the record for the most powerful race car in history, with around 1500-1600hp (qualifying trim) in 1973!

Once again, i spent a lot of hours on it (150+ hours for the v1) , making this car as close as possible mechanically and visually, with exactly 2500 fixtures for the v1, this replica is 95% based of the chassis 002 and 003, the rest being from the 004.

My discord for any feedback, questions, requests or anything else : Bry_i

    Now the important numbers :

    - Twin turbo 5374cc Flat 6 pushing 1103.5hp at 7700rpm, 1.3 bar boost (the real engine is a flat 12, however everything else has been respected, exact engine size, engine materials, compression ratio, boost pressure...)
    - 926.5kg (42.7% Front/57.3% Rear)
    - Top speed : around 340km/h
    - 0-100 km/h : 2.1 seconds

    Updates planned for this mod:

    - Qualifiying trim version with 2 bars of boost (1500-1600hp)
    - More detailled interior/exterior
    - Bug fixes
    - Further tuning based on feedback.

Making all the research of this car and making it made me love this car even more, i hope you will appreciate it as much as i do.

To Mark Donohue who won/dominated Can-Am with this car in 1973, Rest in Peace.

    ENJOY!

great car, but one thing: the rpm gauge is sideways.

Its on purpose, some racers had their gauges tilted for a better view of the redline, or at least the best moment to shift, it was mainly used in older race cars before digital screens appeared.
