As the S-Model was growing long in its tooth by the 70s, Lyons decided to build a new high-end GT car to keep its position among those who wanted to show that they consider ETK plebeian.
Meet the LXR. Designed to appeal to a 70s sense of modernity, it has a fair share of black plastic and two pairs of sealed beam headlights. This is a common California combination of the convertible body, 3-spd FMI automatic and a V12 (choked by Malaise Era emission control to 245 HP).
Semi-inspired by the Jaguar XJS.
